Quantum-resilient by design
Exploring hybrid post-quantum cryptography and upgradeable security controls.
Quantum-resilient settlement technology
Pactway is a technology project built on Hyperledger Fabric, exploring quantum-resilient, auditable settlement between verified institutions and integrations with regulated digital money and existing payment rails.
A technology foundation for settlement networks where security, governance and interoperability matter.
Exploring hybrid post-quantum cryptography and upgradeable security controls.
Verified participation, shared records and configurable transaction policies.
Designed to connect regulated issuers, banking systems and local settlement rails.
A shared settlement record, strong controls and security built to evolve.
Today's signatures and some methods for establishing encrypted connections may be vulnerable to future quantum computers. Post-quantum cryptography uses newer mathematical methods designed to resist those attacks.
Two complementary protections: quantum-resistant digital signatures authenticate identities and transaction approvals, while quantum-resistant key establishment helps protect encrypted connections carrying sensitive data.
Our Fabric proof of concept focuses on hybrid signatures combining classical and post-quantum techniques. Network-wide protection, secure key rotation and upgradeable algorithms are part of the longer-term architecture, not a completed security certification.
At its core is Hyperledger Fabric, a permissioned blockchain where known participants share transaction evidence, and governance rules determine who can approve settlement actions.
Regulated money issuance and redemption would remain the responsibility of appropriately authorised partners.
One core platform, adaptable to different regulated settlement models.
